The Addison Trail/Willowbrook co-op girls swim team won the West Suburban Conference Gold JV Championship on Friday, Oct. 23, at East Leyden.
Willowbrook Athletics announced the conference title on X on Oct. 26, tagging administrators from both DuPage High School District 88 campuses. The co-op program fields swimmers from Willowbrook High School in Villa Park and Addison Trail High School in Addison.
Willowbrook Athletics had previewed the meet earlier that week on Instagram, noting the girls swim team would travel to East Leyden for the WSC Gold Championships starting at 5:30 p.m.
No team scores, point totals or individual event results have been published.
The JV conference championship came during a busy stretch for District 88 athletics. Willowbrook's varsity football team hosted Amundsen in an IHSA playoff opening-round game on Oct. 24, and the school's cross country teams competed at the IHSA Regional Championship at Naperville North the same day, according to the Willowbrook Athletics Instagram post.
The championship meet result has not been accompanied by any published breakdown of relay or individual event winners. Varsity championship results from the same meet have not been announced.
