More Brewing Company in Villa Park will open its side and back lot Sunday, Oct. 25, for a Halloween-themed outdoor artisan market. At least 25 local makers and small businesses will sell handmade goods, and admission is free.

The Spooky Fun Artisan Market runs from noon to 5 p.m. at the brewery, 126 S. Villa Ave. Streetz Artz Alliance, a group that organizes artisan markets at Chicagoland breweries, is putting on the event. Paula Krizek of Streetz Artz Alliance is listed as the market's curator on the event's Eventbrite page.

Organizers promote the market as featuring roughly 30 vendors, though the Eventbrite listing names 25 confirmed businesses. Among them: Gigawatt Coffee Roasters, FrankenWerks Studios, Ghost Owl Studio, KP's Candy Factory, Wolf Pack Peppers, DK Custom Woodwork Co. and author-artist Melanie Klegerman Fersko. The lineup also includes Special K's BeerCandles, The Crooked Workbench, Jen Watson Art and Knots and Stitches.

The market features handmade goods and Halloween creations alongside craft beer and seasonal drinks, according to a Patch community post promoting the event. Trick-or-treating is welcomed.

More Brewing's Villa Park location is the company's original brewpub, where the brewery runs a small-batch system visible from the dining room and serves a full food menu seven days a week, according to the brewery's website. The company describes the Villa Park spot as its smallest location and "the one that feels most like a neighborhood bar."

Streetz Artz Alliance says on its website that it focuses on handmade, vintage and specialty markets hosted exclusively at breweries. The organization says its three curators balance day jobs while producing a limited number of events.

The market is outdoors. No ticket purchase is listed on the Eventbrite page.
