Timothy Christian Schools' Octoberfest variety show has sold out both performances. The show runs Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19, at Huizenga Auditorium on the school's south Elmhurst campus.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. each night, and the show starts at 7 p.m. The school is urging ticket holders to arrive early because the 26-acre campus at 188 West Butterfield Road, at the corner of Butterfield and Prospect, will be busy, according to the school's know-before-you-go notice.

Parking differs by night

Friday attendees can park on campus or at three nearby churches: Faith Christian Reformed Church, Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Saturday's options shrink to two off-campus sites. Parking is available on campus and at Faith Christian Reformed and Elmhurst Christian Reformed only. The school asks attendees not to park at the Seventh-day Adventist Church on Saturday because services will be taking place there.

Students performing in the show should carpool and park in the new east lot near the tennis courts, accessible via Trojan Lane.

About the show

Octoberfest is a Timothy Christian tradition that opens with the school's spoof of "The Muppet Show Theme," according to the school's Octoberfest page. The show draws a large share of the high school student body. In a September 2024 recap, the school reported that nearly 400 students performed that year, representing more than 85 percent of the high school.

Timothy Christian serves 1,269 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th, according to Private School Review.

The school noted in its announcement that Octoberfest lands in September every year and always sells out. It also assured ticket holders the show is never oversold.

No additional performances or ticket releases have been announced beyond the two shows.
