Three downtown Elmhurst businesses on the same block of West Park Avenue were targeted by the same trespassing suspect within 72 hours, according to Elmhurst Police Department reports.

A 60-year-old Villa Park man was arrested three times between Sunday, July 26, and Tuesday, July 28, at Brewpoint Coffee (124 W. Park Ave.), Dan Wangler Builders (138 W. Park Ave.), and Kimmer's Ice Cream (110 W. Park Ave.), according to EPD incident reports published by Patch. He had previously been issued no-trespassing notices at all three locations.

The pattern started about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 26, when the man was charged with criminal trespassing at Brewpoint Coffee for violating a no-trespassing notice, according to a separate EPD report. He was released.

Three days later, about 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, police arrested him at Dan Wangler Builders on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct. Officers said he was seen urinating on the property. He was released again.

That same evening, about 9:30 p.m., the man was charged with trespassing at Kimmer's Ice Cream.

Released a third time.

No information was available about whether charges were consolidated or a court date set. The suspect's name was not published in EPD reports.
