The Oakbrook Terrace Park District hosts a free Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 17, with a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, bounce houses and a trick-or-treat trail.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon across Terrace View Park, the Lake View Nature Center and the Fitness Center. No registration is required.
Beavers Donuts will sell donuts and coffee at the event. Old Second Bank and Elmhurst Dentistry for Kids are sponsoring.
According to the park district's event page, the Terrace View Park lot has limited parking. Families should use the parking garage next to the Fitness Center at 1 Parkview Plaza on 22nd Street. From there, visitors can walk through the Fitness Center directly into Terrace View Park.
